About us
Hristo Kotarev – Ican has been involved in the production and repair of windsurf boards since 2006. In 2014, he founded his own workshop in Sofia, located in the Druzhba neighborhood. For over 15 years, he worked for Witchcraft Sailboards Fuerteventura. In 2023, he launched his own brand, BI boards.
Our workshop offers custom boards production and repair services for windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, and FOIL boards. It is equipped with its own CNC machine, a painting chamber, a curing oven, prep sections, vacuum chambers, and design areas for the production of boards. Over the years, more than 1000 boards have been produced, and over 1000 repairs on various types of equipment have been carried out.
We also offer repairs, repainting, and design/redesign of carbon bicycle frames, forks, and other carbon bike parts. We specialize in the restoration of broken carbon frames, repair of carbon frames, and restoration of original designs for bike frames, as well as the creation of new designs. More than 700 carbon frame repairs have been completed.

The workshop uses and maintains in stock only high-quality materials and consumables from leading manufacturers from Germany, France, England, Sweden, Spain, USA.
Years of experience and the high-quality materials we use ensure durability and a long lifespan for both the manufactured and restored windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, and FOIL boards, as well as carbon bike frames.
By creating products that will be used for a long time or continue to be used instead of being replaced with new ones, we reduce pollution and the environmental impact of producing sports products, which contributes to sustainable development.
